CBD Oil is a rapidly growing market. From smoothies to drops, edibles and so much more, one of the most popular of late has been vaping CBD. CBD is the abbreviation for Cannabidiol, a cannabinoid that is extracted from cannabis. The products that are widely available currently are all extracted from federally legal Industrial Hemp plants, part of the cannabis sativa family. These plants are grown under the United States Farm Bill of 2014 signed by President Obama.

Sales of CBD have increased by nearly 500% since the signing of 2014’s Farm Bill to date and recent reports indicate that the booming Hemp CBD industry is only getting bigger with the latest statistics showing a trend towards a $22 Billion industry by 2022.

As a whole, vaping has massively grown in popularity in the past decade and even recently surged again through the new JUUL type pod products where one pod contains the nicotine equivalent of 200 puffs on a cigarette or an entire pack. However, vaping CBD is relatively new to many as is CBD much like CBD itself. We wanted to take a look at some questions about vaping CBD, vaporizers for CBD, and related uses.

Vaping CBD is the act of inhaling vapor produced by a vaporizer or electronic cigarette. Vapor is defined as “a substance diffused or suspended in the air which is originally a liquid or solid turned into a gaseous form.” The vapor in a vaporizer is the gaseous form of CBD, whether it be via an e-liquid, additive, or concentrate. CBD vape products are products that are intended to be inhaled through vaporizer setups. These devices can range from tank style setups for CBD vape oil e-liquid to coil style setups for vaping CBD concentrates as well as CBD Vape Cartridges and all in one disposable CBD vape pens.

As for types of vaporizer needed and what that is, a vaporizer is an electric device that turns solid or liquid material into vapor. A vaporizer uses a battery to power an atomizer which heats the wicks or coils within a tank to vaporize the CBD oil without combustion. This turns the CBD liquid or concentrate into vapor that is easy to inhale and enter the bloodstream. Most vaporizers are very small, which makes them discrete and easy to carry on the go. For CBD Vape Juice many users utilize popular tank-style e-cig setups while cannabis concentrate pens are popular for those vaping CBD Concentrates. There are many pre-made CBD e-liquids available and these all contain different types of flavors. Products can range from 100 to 1,000 mg per 30 ml bottle of CBD in a carrier oil blend of traditional PG/VG along with MCT, and terpene formulations like Abstrax Tech TEC Temper. These are similar to other vape juices. Many top CBD brands produce these products including CBDistillery, Blue Moon Hemp, CBDfx, Rejoice CBD and others. There are also CBD vape additive products which are flavorless and can be added to traditional e-liquid to infuse CBD into existing vape setups and you can vape CBD concentrate products such as CBD Isolate, CBD Shatter, and CBD Wax too.

Other CBD vape products on the market include CBD Vape Pens. These disposable pens feature an all in one setup with both a tank of CBD vape oil and a battery in one. Users press a button to activate the battery or simply even inhale to activate the vaporizer. These are some of the most popular devices for users.

It should be noted that users should only vape CBD products that are intended for vaporization, not all CBD oil products are intended to be inhaled and improperly ingesting could cause bodily harm. Additionally, vaporization is intended for adults of 18 age or older and not deemed as a safer alternative for any products and is not safe for youth, young adults, or pregnant women.
